Gafur Rahimov, AIBA President, said: “A new era can only start with good governance. I am happy to see that our mission for improved good governance at AIBA has been accomplished. The work done this last year has revitalized AIBA and boxing, and we have a lot to be proud of. We will continue to successfully implement reforms and keep moving in the right direction.”

IOC has frozen the planning of the Olympic boxing tournament at Tokyo 2020 after it began an inquiry into AIBA which could lead to the suspension of the organisation.

The qualification system for the boxing event at the 2020 Olympic Games is also on hold, along with ticket sales, contact between AIBA and the Organising Committee, test event planning and the finalisation of the competition schedule for the sport.

but still...

"The PwC report on refereeing and judging at the Youth Olympic Games Buenos Aires 2018 found that none of the key observations caused concern to the boxing competitions, and that the tournament’s integrity and credibility had not been affected."

basically the most important thing of them all is put aside and almost ignored...they just gave a look at 1 youth tournament with 5/6 matches per weight class in total and because of that they think judging is no longer a problem...:yikes::rofl::facepalm::wall:

not only "throw boxing out of the Games!", but also "throw IOC out of this world! and find another institution to govern the sports world"...:evil::pope:
