insidethegame knows its sensation to protect the minor under 16 under WADA conduct but still exclusively reported this breaking news without official confirmation. If it turns out true it’s Kamila who violated doping rules, I would respect its capabilities to unveil the sensitive information but not respect its code of conduct. If it turns out just some rumor, I will disgust this heartless media to ruin the teenager’s mood and status by spreading this kind of evil lies.

Totally agree

It's the ITG... lowest quality journalism. Literally copy pastes from other sources and literally every article has errors. It's not that serious of an organization.

The thing ITG is "useful" for is knowing what IFs want to be made public while keeping some plausible deniability. Which is why in this instance I'm unfortunately pretty sure the reporting is accurate.

I think the IOC will have to expel the entire Russian team from the figure skating or risk losing even more of its reputation.

Also it be remarkable if the only two medals Russia has lost at post Sochi games (Both summer and winter) are in curling and figure skating rather than in sports with more notable Doping issues.

What does the "protected person" rule actually mean in this scenario? Like, they won't reveal that it's her, they will just take away the gold from ROC, but we will still know that she was caught when she won't compete in the individual event?

Apparently under 16 is protected.

when they made rule. they probably wouldn't predict a 15 years old becomes this famous. under 16 athletes are always unknown.

I just hope she doesn't get banned somehow. she is just AMAZING to watch. the best skater ever.
