I actually think they could medal. And I really want them too. Very nice people besides the ice.

Thanks a lot bro. Of course,  it would be very nice. I am sure their skill might be there. Just need to pull up the best performance during the games. Let's see. We go step by step ..... Today's match was fantastic.

Interesting, the only undefeated teams so far are China and Italy (2-0) while the only winless team is Australia (0-3).

China just lost to Sweden 6:7 as Sweden played an amazing 8th end with 3 stones

:ITA is the last undefeated team left, as we all expected :coffee:

Defeating :USA and :SUI is maybe kinda expected as all the teams are kinda on the same level ..... Bigger wonder would be if Italy's score was 2:0 after playing :CAN and :GBR :-D

Yeah, it's not surprising they are undefeated, its more about them being the only one.  It'll be interesting to see how things turn out.

It's just 2-3 games for each team. Nothing has been decided yet. Of course, it's a surprise that Italy is only undefeated team as we would expect that from :GBR or :CAN ...... Hopefully, :CZE will take the status away from them tomorrow :-D

Stefania Constantini MVP of the day for me.  Italy starting the Games like it's 2021. Her partner was there too i guess.

Haven't watched much of this mixed couple variation of curling and i'm not that impressed tbh. Lot's of mistakes (could be because the ice is very weird apparently, which leads to a very messy gameplay. It did help for some comebacks though.

    • Ah, as if that weren’t enough, Fratelli d’Italia (the largest party in parliament, the same one PM Giorgia Meloni belongs to) is demanding that the federation’s leadership come to parliament to explain the reasons for the failure. One of the rare times the government and opposition are united
    • Obviously, like every four years, the usual media circus has kicked off, with Italian politics and the government demanding the FIGC president’s head on a spike. Meanwhile, since the president is also an idiot, he doubled down, saying that football players are the only professionals and that other sports survive on government money. And so, the little theater begins, with the big stars of other sports launching a media storm (rightly so) to insult overpaid football players who can’t even achieve the minimum results.
