ISU updated the provisional quotas after SLC stage. But it didn't change the method which is consistent to last cycle but apparently not the current one.

My understanding of the current document is that 3 full quotas could be only obtained by points and never by time and also W3000m should give China a host quota as the 2nd person in on reserve list.

Yes you are right. The chart is not correct... just lists the timings in order of best times (without taking account the other criteria)

• Qualified on time for now, but can all change once the B-Group has skated:

It looks like this is the Olympic debut for in speed skating.

 

It also looks like and will both miss out on these Olympics entirely - is first reserve in the 10000m and was 3 points away from qualifying in the 5000m

 

Edit: actually, forgot that Michael is in a qualifying position in the 1500m (barely).
