Well, they *are* part of North America, at least geographically (and I would argue culurally as well since most of their polulation are Inuit).

Yeah, but I think the point was Greenland itself. Travelling to Nuuk doesn't sound very convenient for example.

Indeed, also daylight on Nuuk currently lasts 21 hours.  I really hope Greenland team uses all this advantage and qualifies for the Worlds.

as for handball rather "cool" than exotic ;p;p

they had good teams in the past, playing in WC - if they held a basketball champs ok, but handball? What`s surprising in this?
