Be ready for a special double Easter Holidays poll this weekend :d

Including some iconic events like: Men's and Women's 100m in Athletics, Men's and Women's 100m Freestyle in Swimming, Men's Cycling Road Race and others...

#TeamMoura-heywoodu

my picks...

Swimming, men's 200m Fly...who else? I think this is one of the most obvious picks so far...

it's the winningest athlete in the history of sport, :USA Michael Phelps...

Swimming, women's 200m Backstroke...one of the classiest swimmers of all time, capable of winning gold medals as baby girl and as a true woman...:HUN Krisztina Egerszegi...

Rowing, men's Single Sculls...this is one of the event with the richest history of the Olympics, more than 100 years of glory with many great champions...

not an easy choice, but imho nobody has yet equalled the true GOAT, :FIN Perrti Karppinen...

Canoeing, men's 1000m...in a discipline heavily marked by the Scandinavians, I feel I have to go with the only man winning 3 gold medals, :SWE Gert Fredriksson...

Sailing, men's Skiff (49er)...looking at the results all this sailor have reached outside the single Olympic event, it's a close battle between Outteridge and Burling, but I feel I have to pick :NZL Peter Burling, the man with most wins other than the Olympics (considering also other classes)...

Results:

SWIMMING - Men's 200m Butterfly

1. Michael Phelps USA

2. Kristof Milak HUN (T)

3. Chad le Clos RSA (T)

1. Krisztina Egerszegi HUN

2. Kirsty Coventry ZIM

2. Pertti Karppinen FIN

3. Olaf Tufte NOR

    • the basic is the same but with different tricks, different strategy etc. it's a mixture of frestyle and Greco because you can't dive for a single leg attack.    I'm surprised to see ~20 wrestlers in each weight. hopefully that doesn't tempt UWW or IOC to try this in major events. as a wrestling fan I find this very unwatchable !
