According to Worldofvolley.com this is the pool composition for the OG-qualification for women's volleyball. The 'draw' was held on December 19th. I have completely missed reports about these pools.

Pool A (Japan host): Serbia, Japan, Turkey, Germany, Canada, Colombia, Mexico, Peru.

Pool B: Italy, China, Dominican Republic, Netherlands, Thailand, Czech Republic, Argentina, Slovenia.

Pool C: Brazil, United States, Poland, Belgium, Bulgaria, Puerto Rico, South Korea, Ukraine

I can assure you this is wrong, it was supposed to be on 19 December but FIVB postponed it. probably because they still didn't find the hosts (or maybe it has something to do with Russia's participation or non-participation)

Normally Worldofvolley is well informed, but the FIVB has not confirmed the pool composition, so I think you are right.

I can't find the news on the FIVB's website, but the detailed schedule of each Olympic Qualification Tournament has been released.

Wikipedia already have everything updated.

here are the women's tournaments:

China, Serbia and Dominican Republic as final three opponents is a recipe for hope and unevitable disappointment for the Dutch team. Already looking forward to it!

Edit: Dominican, not Czech. We might be able to beat the Czech Republic...

    • Sorry. In that case, it would be a whopping 0 out of 20 medals that would be different, even better     My point was that it's actually not that 'bad' in European table tennis, at least looking at top results (nothing compared to the Open Dagestani Championships in wrestling).
    • Are you talking about Maria Xiao? She was born in Spain, grew up in Portugal before returning to Spain. That shouldn't count and definitely not the same as people moving to a country with no ties to compete

    • I really love this new rule, even if it might hurt  in the next future
    • Absolute loyalty is the main criteria for any job in dictatorship. (USA is not but Republican party is fully under Trump's control).    Also, more tragicomic is the situation of Pro-Palestinian people who were angry with Biden-Harris and may have either switched sides or not voted. Trump is gonna have the most Pro-Israel Security Establishment in years.    Edit: I absolutely disagree with the quoted tweet. We shouldn't expect the people who are fighting inflation to care about global events.
    • It was more about the first tweet though. Who would've thought Trump of all people would employ a DEI 2.0 kind of strategy, where the D, E and I are replaced by only a single requirement (absolute loyalty to Trump)
    • as I said so many times in this forum Rostami is a total jerk. he wants to work alone, doesn't participate in trials etc, just simply go to the main events on his own. of course the weightlifting federation said no   therefore he decided to compete for another NOC. but last thing I heard if our WL federation doesn't let him, he needs to wait 1 year before switching nationality. and our WL federation doesn't grant him that permission. so as things stand he won't be allowed to participate in this event (will be eligible next year)
