  6. Nice choices for as well. On the other hand, I really hope Gili Kuritzky will make it to Paris in fencing. I really liked her performance in Euro Games in Kraków and I follow her career now. Not a flag bearer in Paris yet, maybe she could raise your flag proudly in LA 2028???
  7. Anyway, here in Poland we say being a flag bearer can be a kind of curse.
  8. The same here. But quite often they pick the real medal chances but then they fail to get a medal. Agnieszka Radwańska, London 2012, first one I think of. She lost in the opening round, and a moment earlier she was in the final on the same Wimbledon court. But nevermind, I must admit that some of Radwańska matches were much more emotional for me than Świątek. I wonder why, maybe because she was the first. It's like Adam Małysz vs Kamil Stoch...
  9. I wonder how it is in your country but in Poland we say: The flag bearer won't make it to the medal. In recent editions Polish flag bearers were usually well-picked (imho) but they failed to get a medal almost every time.
  10. Cape Town 2040 would be grat for me as well. The same timezone, easy to follow. Yep, European Games was bad (from what i've seen on tv), Athletics WCH in Budapest were simply great (from a fan's perspective, been there, an awesome experience) Budapest olympics with different political situation there and all across Central Europe - well... i would love it
  11. From what i've seen I would say Barcelona 1992 olympics museum in Montjuic but i haven't been to Lausanne yet. What's your recommendations?
  12. I say one person only was much better option and i pick an obvious choice. Iga Świątek (tennis) if the organizers plan her match on Day 2 ofc…
  13. You can choose Man and Woman ? But you can choose only one person, it is up to you.
  14. Awful game vs for us but we will qualify via ranking anyway so whatever… i don’t like this quali via ranking system at all, it is good for Polish teams ofc but it makes the qualifying tournaments not as entertaining as they could be
  15. @rybak i agree with your simulation almost 100% this may be less than 200 athletes in total this time but maybe less athletes than before but more medals??? We will see…
  16. I doubt that will be there in Paris. But who knows . This weightlifting result may prove otherwise
  17. I will be back with this thing soon, stay tuned. I don't expect more than 5 users voting after such a long hiatus but whatever... ;-)
  18. Wow. How do you find time for all of this? I can hardly watch 5% of it weekly.
  19. Budapest 2036 would be the best option for me. It would be very close, less expensive than other places for me and Poland wouldn’t have to pay for it. but ofc Warsaw 2036 would be my dreams come true. But this is obviously just pre-elections promises. One of the most important elections since 1989 here in two weeks time. India 2036 is still favourite imho and deservedly so I think Warsaw 2044 would be the best option. 100 years after Warsaw Uprising. But if you make olympic anmouncements in the middle of the elections campaign, you split the nation in half on this topic too if there is an olympic referendum in Warsaw these days people would say no and i wonder if Okęcie AirPort still exists in 2044 so close to the city centre. These areas could work well for olympic village and olympic park with the most important venues all close to each other i am not sure if this Okęcie olympic project is good though because i feel many people would earn dirty money on this well, see you in India 2036 anyway
