  1. That last part, especially. My sister's boyfriend for example has a severe muscle disease and bad lungs. I know I most likely will get away with either no to mild symptoms or a flu-like period if I were to contract the virus, but people like him would be in severe danger.
  2. IndyCar in St Petersburg NASCAR in Texas
  3. The North Sentinelese have come one step closer to dominating a world they most likely don't know exist beyond what they can see
  4. Nope, that's been cancelled from yesterday on.
  5. Rollerskiing FIS races in São Carlos today, tomorrow and Sunday. And Freysonnaz should be Veysonnaz
  6. I think everything has been listed now.
  7. I've still got two years of UFC of which I've managed to avoid spoilers for pretty much the entire time, half a season of climbing and half the junior world championships in XC, NC, ski jumping and alpine skiing to go, I won't run out of entertainment yet
  8. Nope, in a prime example of a major clusterfuck, the end result is that it's been cancelled.
  9. Any major events still on apart from IndyCar and NASCAR, XC in Quebec and biathlon in Kontiolahti? I'm talking about events on the highest level their sports, so no regional U16 championships or something I feel like pretty much everything that could have been cancelled, was cancelled yesterday. Edit: snowboard cross in Veysonnaz today is still on and the same goes for freestyle skiing in Switzerland (but forgot the place and event) I think. Another edit: ski cross in Veysonnaz is also still on moved forward as well, that'll be tomorrow to round off the season
  10. He's just acting as if he is a regular Totallympian though: he can voice his opinion on it, but it just really doesn't matter.
  11. These were started, but after a few days (the downhills and super-G's went on as normal) the rest was cancelled earlier in the week.
  12. Opportunities arise...
  13. Who? And there's a difference between Olympics and regular, annual World Cup seasons. Sure, people like you and me will remember (and in my case, I'll just think 'Oh yeah, the season that was cut short but still had two deserving champions'), but the general public will just think "Brignone/Kilde won a World Cup overall title" and that's it.
  14. Most likely on both over/under and the handicap (ie, team A wins by more than x or not), which is how also on extremely one-sided matches one can make sort of 50/50 bets
  15. Imagine being on the team that lost that match. I mean, nobody is going to care for random win 65 or 79 or 106, but if you lose after such a streak....ouch
  16. Absolutely nobody is going to care in 5 years from now
  17. I had not seen his withdrawal yet and would just like to clarify this was not meant as a personal attack towards him
  18. Ah yeah, that sounds surprisingly familiar, the UConn thing
  19. The snowboard cross finals in Veysonnaz have been moved forward from Sunday to tomorrow. I don't know when that happened, but thought I'd share it here.
  20. Thanks. And screw everyone who says their too busy to listen this weekend because the entire world is cancelled so nobody's got shit to do.
  21. FIS rollerski races in São Carlos are still on, starting tomorrow
  22. Today I learned there apparently is a women's March Madness as well.
  23. Which will have it's next two races without spectators
  24. People like that are the cancer of this world. Idiots.
