  1. I would suggest starting from zero (before today's first posted vote) and ending it right now
  2. From Switzerland has always been problematic indeed, but I swear I used to see these videos from Austria without issue Oh well, no use in writing something about it then if there's no video, saves me some time
  3. Are videos of yesterday's winning runs available anywhere? Can't see it on FIS's YouTube or Twitter channels....it's as if for whatever reason they decided not to show anything anymore after the competitions..
  4. Does anyone else have issues with hotkeys not working? Like simply pressing the arrow to the right for skipping 10 seconds.
  5. Yeah, how obvious can it be? The only thing missing is that she's wearing some orange prison jumpsuit and saying "Hello, my name is Peng Shuai and I want to tell everyone I am doing perfect and there is nothing going on and everything I said earlier was actually a lie Please stop looking for me, I am super well, I just don't want to compete ever again so I will stay away Also, there are no tanks in Baghdad, everything is fine "
  6. That's coming from specifically my area of the country (the Veluwe, TISC host area): 'Veluwse Zwienenkeutels'.....'Veluwe Pig Droppings', literally translated
  7. I'm not so convinced about the 5k, but then 10...yeah. The way he rides it is just a pure show He just does not get tired. Well, of course 10k is easy if you do supermega-ultramarathons running and 24 hour bike rides
  8. Dutch stroopwafels and kruidnoten in the World Cup, no coincidence
  9. Nils van der Poel is no human. What a truly, truly insane athlete
  10. Huh, now it works. When I checked that exact page a few minutes before, it went straight to the next random video Alright, I'll give it a few minutes after the runs then. Used to that with the awesome FIL platform anyway I still don't notice any improvement. Quality is the same on my screen and the live functionality has decreased, but alright. Hopefully at least IBSF stays on YouTube, which is still far and away the very best platform for these things.
  11. Cool, the first run replay is already not available. That's promising.
  12. Seems like the Olympics.com player is only able to go back roughly one minute during a live broadcast (suggesting one can also just pause it for a minute or so before it starts playing automatically), wtf?
  13. That's the pre-recorded POV run to show the track though, they've been doing that at the start of broadcasts (including the angles, G-force, speed) for a while now
  14. 22.000 people would be a nice change, a little less massive can be good, especially when it's in a truly unique setting other than just another big stadium. Too bad it's apparently only the Paralympic ceremony and not both.
  15. New Orleans Pelicans (basketball) player Didi Louzada has tested positive for not one, but two kinds of steroids. Obviously a four-year ban or something....except it's the US/NBA and so he's back eligible to play in under two months (25 games) Oh US, you are hilarious.
  16. Which new graphics have you seen so far that I haven't?
  17. New intro music At least it's still Tim Singer to welcome us!
  18. Soooo....where is the live stream? It only links to the broadcast schedule in which run one is now gone. Edit: Right, here it is. https://olympics.com/en/sport-events/2021-fil-luge-eberspacher-world-cup-yongqing/?slug=luge-doubles-run-1-eberspacher-world-cup-1-yanqing Let's hope the on-demand and pause functionality and so on is directly translated to the new platform.
  19. I'll gladly welcome them with a nice cup of hot chocolate, nothing to hide here since it's paracetamol only for basically everything
  20. In happier news, check the 'Residence' here, since today https://www.fis-ski.com/DB/general/athlete-biography.html?sectorcode=CC&competitorid=194536&type=summary
  21. Which German cross-country portal is that? Just out of curiousity, so I can add it to my bookmarks
