That is just as incorrect as the frustrated people saying she is a man (which she isn't). Nothing to do with opinion by the way, calling her a man or transgender is simply factually incorrect.

And apparently other teams already knew about this, so one might still wonder: is there no possiblity that the fault lies with Botswana's team? Or is it IAAF's fault because they are the big bad federation, so by definition in a case like this it's their fault?

In the Makwala-case it's really hard to know who to judge, there's no way we know all the details. He might as well have lied to be able to skip the 200m but still run the 400m (which he would not be allowed to do if he skipped the 200 for no reason).

But I don't see how orange makes sense. For the non-existing Dutch team that'd make sense, just like for example that all-blue of Italy makes sense despite it not being in their flag (much better than the red of a while back). It shouldn't only be easily spottable, it should also make sense

I like orange suits, but only for the Netherlands (or maybe Ivory Coast, but I've got a feeling they might be a little far away from participating in international biathlon) This new Slovak suit is a million times better

Exactly. It's sort of different with for example Azerbaijan, but who can blame an athlete for choosing for money when he comes from a country that sucks in terms of safety, that sucks in terms of stability, that sucks in terms of the financial situation and general welfare and that probably sucks in a ton of other possible ways.
