  1. Not strange for someone who jumped 7.83m less than two months ago
  2. Better than the Thai guy with a pole vault PB of 4.10m
  3. Trinidad & Tobago, Botswana, USA and GBR in one heat in the men's 4x400
  4. Very talented guy for the Winter Paralympics (I'd say the biggest talent Brazil has ever seen in para-XC skiing) and now he even already got silver (and 4th) in the junior para-athletics world championships
  5. If Mayer keeps going like this, he can just walk the 1500m tomorrow and take the gold
  6. So, we've got all results of the South American championships apparently. I only found the top-3 + the Brazilian results, there are at least ten men missing in the results between 4th and 10th who must be Argentinians and Chileans then, I'll update when I find those Men's sprint 1. Axel Ciuffo (Argentina) 2. Damian Barcos (Argentina) 3. Yonathan Fernandez (Chile) 11. Fabrizio Bourguignon (Brazil) --> meaning he's now the Brazilian champion 12. Leandro Lutz (Brazil) 14. Lucas Martins (Brazil) Men's mass start 1. Axel Ciuffo (Argentina) 2. Damian Barcos (Argentina) 3. Yonathan Fernandez (Chile) 7. Fabrizio Bourguignon (Brazil) 11. Leandro Lutz (Brazil) 15. Lucas Martins (Brazil) Women's sprint 1. Maria Cecilia Dominguez (Argentina) 2. Claudia Salcedo (Chile) 3. Mirlene Picin (Brazil) Women's mass start 1. Maria Cecilia Dominguez (Argentina) 2. Claudia Salcedo (Chile) 3. Mirlene Picin (Brazil) Four competitions, around 20 athletes in total I guess, and all I can find about the shooting is that Bourguignon missed 'only' 5 shots in the mass start and that only one person (no idea who) did better in that race
  7. Well, trying to write something on a Dutch website about this that makes sense is going to pose a major challenge, so it seems I thought there was gallop too for 'normal' horses
  8. Protest from the Dutch federation to get Eefje Boons to the semi's in the 100 hurdles, because the athlete next to her hit her, causing Boons to lose her balance. No idea if it'll work
  9. Seems like both Brazilians are out of the decathlon after barely two events
  10. Kynard is out
  11. @dcro Help! Apparently there's a world championships going on in the Netherlands at the moment, something about Icelandic Horses, but I have no idea what it is, so, what is it? http://wk2017.nl/
  12. Michelle Jenneke's act being ignored by the camera
  13. The only way to really follow a decathlon/heptathlon is with a good forecast, so thanks (even though I already knew this once from the heptathlon, still worth a thanks )
  14. Because I don't care much about these Kenyans in the women's steeple. Nothing against them, I just don't really care (also nothing against Kenya btw, I like Yego, I like Asbel Kiprop, just these specific steeple athletes, great as they are, don't get me excited). Sure semifinals are interesting, but not the 'omg I can not miss this' kind of interesting. Neither is the women's 200m this time, no Thompson, no Bowie, Ta Lou who had to go full pull to get to 22.50, Miller-Uibo who might be feeling that 400 a little too much, Schippers who almost walked her way through the semi's. I expect Schippers to win by a relatively big margin, but I definitely hope I'm wrong and it'll be as close as the men's final. Don't really care who wins, as long as it's a close final I'm happy.
  15. Hopefully not with a mighty Fajdek or else that's gonna be a boring affair as well (I mean, the man can win, no problem, but please don't let it be over after 1 throw )
  16. Richard Douma has been added to the 1500m semi's, his protest was accepted Apparently they protested a move by Musagala, which the IAAF accepted. Odd, I was certain it was his own fault.
  17. Anyone looking particularly forward to tomorrow? The only thing I can really get excited about when looking at the schedule is the women's long jump final and Alina Talay's heat in the 100m hurdles
  18. Dutch interviewer asking Makwala in the mixed zone: "Are you sad you didn't get a medal in the end?" No, I'm sure he's dancing in the streets to celebrate his not winning a medal!
  19. Azerbaijani winning for Turkey, this is freaking hilarious
  20. Makwala would be cool, nothing against WvN, but Sani Brown would be epic
  21. I really hope Van Niekerk is much, much better than in the semi's. Don't really care who wins (Makwala would be cool), but at least give us a great fight please
  22. What's it like in New York City?
  23. Wow, the Americans didn't fail
  24. TV direction has seen better days as well.
  25. 22.49, 22.49, 22.50
