  1. Wow, that's huge.
  2. YES! Tajikistan won a game, guys!
  3. Excellent choice! And while you're at it, you might as well tune in an hour or so earlier and watch the GP3 as well, it's always fun to start the Sunday with GP3 before going on to Formula 2 and then really be ready for the main race
  4. Hello and welcome in yet another thread! As most of you are probably very well aware, the 2018 Winter Olympics are coming up quickly. On social media this means athletes will have to abide by some strict rules, think along the lines of absolutely no sponsor mentions, and so on. Anyhow, that obviously won't prevent athletes from sharing their adventures on social media, and that's where it gets fun for us! We all remember, or at least some do, the likes of Usain Bolt and the women's handball team appearing, the US bobsledders destroying a door because they got stuck, and so on. Since we're with many people from many different nations here, I thought it'd be fun to keep an eye on the social media accounts of our athletes and teams, and post the fun, interesting or otherwise remarkable things here
  5. @Bohemia (or anyone else), do you know whether or not Pinturault is planning to compete in the team event?
  6. For the always dominating Rojas brothers this is their 2nd time already
  7. Surprise! Twelve positive tests during last month's Vuelta a Costa Rica, including among others the (in those regions) legendary 5-time winner (and 17-time stage winner) http://www.uci.ch/pressreleases/uci-statement-the-vuelta-ciclista-internacional-costa-rica/
  8. Yeah that's gonna work well after a legal battle about how to deal with your baby.
  9. With the new season closing in, Formula 1 bosses have just decided to put a whole lot of women out of a job http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/motor-racing/formula1/formula-1-f1-grid-girls-banned-get-rid-women-grand-prix-darts-ban-pdc-walk-on-eddie-hearn-a8187161.html This whole 'everything should be forbidden' movement is now making a ton of women (like in the modelling world) lose their jobs, fantastic...
  10. Formula 1 FIA World Championship 2018 Multi-Stage Event - 23 March 2018 - 25 November 2018 Totallympics Results Thread
  11. Yep, in a walkover I guess it would simply be 6-0, 6-0, without any points scored. Points are being scored and stats being registered though, for example 5 of the 108 games played so far have gone to deuce.
  12. There's always Mongolia and Guam to get a game against. I mean, if you take all their single points and combine them, together that's almost a set won! #progress
  13. That is correct. Much to my surprise, I also found out Germany won Olympic bronze in Rio. I'm fairly sure I watched the final, but not much apart from that.
  14. I'd watch the video (he is training on the streets, much like Shiva Keshavan)
  15. Doppelmeter wins, awesome
  16. Yeahhhhh that's not what I meant
  17. Aaaaaaand there goes Domracheva's hopes of being at the start well-rested.
  18. In ski jumping "no difference" is not entirely correct, there definitely are specialists (although of course not as big of a difference as, say, the slalom vs downhill in alpine skiing). The 'flyers' have a better chance on the large hill, but since there are no 'flyers' in NC, I guess there isn't that much difference indeed.
  19. Out of curiousity: in the normal hill vs large hill competition, does anyone really have an advantage in one event compared to the other? I mean, I'd guess the best jumpers have a bigger advantage on the large hill?
  20. Attention: Sabine Schöffmann (snowboarding) is out of the Olympics.
  21. Austrian medal candidate Sabine Schöffmann (PGS) is out, injured. http://www.fis-ski.com/snowboard/alpine-snowboard/news-multimedia/news/article=schoeffmann-miss-olympics.html
  22. Keep practicing guys, maybe against Mongolia, Bahrain or Guam they can start thinking about getting a game to deuce!
  23. I hope you're right, cycling would be so much better off without Froome (or the entire sickening Brailsford-clan for that matter), but I fear you're wrong...
