  1. Basically this is simply an admission of guilt, so: see you at the end of 2019/beginning of 2020 Chris (I know that won't happen, but still, one can hope)
  2. Apparently Froome/Sky are aiming for some sort of deal, losing the Vuelta (and his world champs medal) in exchange for only a 5-6 month bad (which would cause him no harm since it'd be mostly in the winter months anyway) http://www.corriere.it/sport/18_gennaio_30/resa-froomepronto-patteggiareper-salvare-stagione-3a684d00-0530-11e8-8913-7ceabd19f7b3.shtml
  3. Both of these statements are incorrect, especially the 'it's forbidden', because it's quite clearly not.
  4. Ah, the epic - clash today I see, sorry @hckosice but no chance Tomorrow it's the much anticipated - match.
  5. Damn it, one of my favourite skiers
  6. I still wonder what happens if someone plays a YouTube video of a Russian anthem in their room or sing it in the building or something
  7. Absolutely. Plus maybe a case of not having the right friends.
  8. Not entirely hard to understand though.
  9. Anyone has a chance in the team event
  10. RIP Tajikistan
  11. I'm fairly sure nearly every East German athlete would be less of a shady figure than Pechstein, so they can do that in 2020 with a non-Pechstein
  12. So no Sergeeva after all?
  13. Congratulations @ady48 And thanks for organizing it @tuniscof, especially with the daily standings it was fun to follow
  14. Do we already have any idea which athletes are going to do the combined? I find this the by far hardest event to even guess who'll start
  15. Scoring exactly 2 goals in 20 minutes after HT doesn't help...
  16. Dutch band Kleintje Pils will be performing at their 6th straight Olympics, the Pyeongchang OC has invited them for the speed skating https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gHuz0Pu8HPo
  17. Change it to Interim President and yeah, you're right
  18. Or have a shot put pit in the middle of the course, where you can only continue after you threw at least xx meters, with a weight-drag portion as well
  19. Yeah that was poor timing Still in general I'm in favour of letting people get this hugely valuable experience, especially if you've got the quota anyway and the other option is either rejecting it (meh) or sending someone older who's barely better.
  20. Adding him to the team for his individual events: logical and a smart choice. Letting him do the team event: wait what? That's not the best idea ever.
  21. So Australia in 5th, I knew they weren't that bad. Should have won more often
  22. Not a talent show, but it's not unrealistic to think someone like Vinatzer is a decent World Cup athlete in 4 years from now, and having this experience now might greatly improve the chances of him keeping his focus at the next Olympics, instead of losing it because, well, it's the Olympics (like always happens with more than just a few first time Olympians). It'd be different if Italy had 4-5 spots and 4-5 much much better athletes in his discipline, but do they? (definitely not Borsotti)
  23. At the world juniors we'll have a women's test event tomorrow and OH MY GOD THERE'S A DUTCH GIRL!!! http://ewoxx.de/Lists/15912/1812/2018NK4152SLT.pdf I guess she's the younger sister of Max Teeling (1999), who took some (gold) medals home af this week's Dutch XC champs
