    Hopefully this case will lead to an increase of the minimum age required to compete in senior championships, at this point it's only justifying repeated child abuse - no wonder they all burn out early.

    An encouragement sign for their teammate Sighel, who had some success in Poland (a few medals at last year's Euro I think), to win in the East, China. A bit extreme to call him "king of Poland" for a few medals but probably a joke between them.

    Apparently she tested positive for trimetazidine though...that would suggest that Russians are continuing to treat their athletes for "heart problems" as usual...what is the need for 15 years old youngsters without any medical exemption to be administered these drugs and why in othr countries they do not have this many heart problems is of course a mystery.

    Sad for them but, as I said, I prefer these funding systems to not be very successful - I prefer NOCs (or whoever distribute funds) that give broad support to athletes in a wide range of sports, and don't consider only (very) short terms medals won.

    Good, these funding systems where everything is strictly tied to the number of medals won in a single competition (especially in sports with not so many events) are horrible and the more they are succesful, the more there are calls in other countries to copy them.
