  2. c'mon, guys! let's be serious...this Algerian guy is 100 levels below the Mongolian...he didn't need to do anything intentional to lose against him...
  3. do I really have to waste my time with this?

  8. Grand Slam (Düsseldorf, GER) Day #1 Recap First day of the second Grand Slam of the season...and guess what? Japan won 4 out of the possible 5 Gold Medals... Today's glory went to: Ryuju Nagayama (men's -60kg), Joshiro Maruyama (men's -66kg), Funa Tonaki (women's -48kg), Tsukasa Yoshida (women's -57kg)... the only weight class that wasn't won by a Japanese player is the women's -52kg, where Majlinda Kelmendi showed once again that she's not the reigning Olympic Champion for nothing... Full Rankings here: https://live.ijf.org/gs_ger2019/results for Italy, another good but not outstanding day...our rising star Manuel Lombardo in the end was 5th like in Paris, losing once again in the pool final (this time to the eventual winner, Maruyama of Japan) and then wasting the chance of a medal in the Bronze Medal bout against another "mr. Nobody" (this time the Russian Yakub Shamilov)... the best result of the day, once again, came from Odette Giuffrida, who won another Bronze Medal (after losing the semifinal against the untouchable Kelmendi)... after a very difficult couple of years (because of bad injuries, tbh), finally she looks back in her best shape like in 2016, winning her 2nd Bronze in a row in Grand Slam tournaments...
  9. day #1...meh to start the home champs, just 2 bronze medals...not a disaster, but definitely not great, too...below the expectations, to say the least (especially because 1 of the 2 competitions from today's schedule was the men's Foil)...
  10. it was too beautiful to be true... until now, there haven't been any problem with this champs' results...but when you're happy to have got all the infos in reasonable time through the entire week...zac! today's results just stopped coming before the last 3 final assaults... so, while we wait for the last medallists to be known to complete our final summary, we can add the champions of the unusual sub-15 contintal tournament (which actually don't count officially for the Cadet & Junior African Championships)... women's sub-15 individual epee: Inour Elshamy women's sub-15 individual foil: Salma Hany women's sub-15 individual sabre: Jana Mohamed men's sub-15 individual epee: Mohamed Yasseen men's sub-15 individual foil: Ahmed Hendawi men's sub-15 individual sabre: Mohammed Belasam Bounaceur

  19. they should have been contested within the Altenberg World Cup race... but... in the men's singles, no Asian luger was at the start... in the men's doubles, only the Korean pair Park Jin Yong & Kang Dong Kyu did show up... and in the women's singles, where 2 Asian lugers competed (Aileen Frisch, KOR and Lin Sin-Rong, TPE), only one girl could finish the race (Aileen Frisch), meanwhile the other crashed out... therefore, I guess that the titles were not awarded because of lack of competitors...
  20. unfortunately, no...not for me, at least... when I open the federscherma website and I click on the supposed link to the live streaming, in my browser(s, I tried with Edge, Firefox and Chrome and the result is always the same) only a clean white page opens... as I wrote, I had to search by myself the streams among those on YT (luckily, it's a tagged styream, so I could find it, otherwise, if it was one of those untagged broadcasts -like the CHL in ice Hockey, for instance- I would not have any chance to find it)...
  21. well, at 8/8.30 a.m. mid-August in Paris the temperature shouldn't be that crazy hot... but 2024 is still quite a long time far away from now...
  22. round of #16 already started, but the streaming's not working... shame on the Italian federation! when it comes to fencing coverage, there's only one place that's worse than Italy...it's China! those 2 Countries should be banned from organizing any sport event! EDIT: I did find the streaming on Youtube...never trust the Italian Federation website (which, as I wrote, doesn't have any stream working)...it's always so sh*tty!!! here (of course the supposed Italian commentary feed doesn't have the Italian commentary, but still)...
  23. really? a caravan tour across Japan? did they loan the idea from Prodi's last electoral campaign in Italy? well, maybe it's not that bad, since the last time he committed, then he won the elections...
  24. Live Streaming, here: https://www.federscherma.it/europei-foggia-2019/live-streaming-foggia-2019.html the streams will be available only from the round of 16 of each event, when the traditional 4 coloured pistes would eventually be used (today, at about 1 p.m. starting with the boys' individual Foil)...
  25. not exactly...there will be 2 marathon runs...one with the top athletes (probably in the late afternoon, to close the Games) and one with the amateur/not selected for the Games pro runners in the morning of the last day (basically this one will be the "classic" Paris Marathon you can watch/run every year)... they just want to combine those 2 events, the elite and the popular one...
