    Hello everyone! Any updates on the allocation of tripartite invitations for each sport? I have only noticed that Tripartite Commission has invited athletes in the artistic and rhythmic gymnastics thus far. The confirmation of shooters for Rio 2016 and the distribution of Tripartite Invitational Places in shooting would have already been done last week, but the list of quota places per NOC is still not updated until now. Is this possible that the deadline of shooters might be extended to a later date?

    Do you know how and when will Great Britain select the sailing crews in men's 470 and 49er? I just noticed that Luke Patience and Elliot Willis had been deselected to the team few months ago because of the Willis' ongoing battle with bowel cancer. He was replaced by Chris Grube.

    Do you know when will the Italians announce the rifle and pistol shooters, as well as the remaining sailing crews for Rio 2016?

    Injuries may not only be a factor to these weightlifters preparing for Rio. As expected, they have to undergo a pre-Olympic doping test. If some of them have been tested positive for any banned substance, they are ineligible to compete at the Olympics.

    Any updates on the German sailors towards the selection for Rio 2016? DOSB had officially decided to reject the Nacra 17 spot, as none of the crews reached the top 10 position at the ISAF World Cup meet in Hyères, France, leaving the boats to six.

    2008 Olympic champion and London 2012 bronze medalist César Cielo will miss his home Games. Because of his injuries sustained throughout the 2015 and 2016 season, he might retire soon before Rio starts.

    I thought the deadline for confirmation of the quota places has already been finished last Monday. What happened to the site? Until now, the list has not been updated yet. Will ISSF possibly extend the deadline to give the shooters a chance to fulfill the quota places through their national selection? Any reactions? Apparently, ISSF has not updated the list of shooters or quota places for two straight months.

    Tasiadis and Aigner are indeed safe, as they have already been selected at the Olympic trials, so they'll still have a chance to add more medals to their career treasury, respectively.

    But how will the Germans be able to exchange the women's air pistol spot, if you already know that the deadline for the confirmation of the quota places has already been over? His best results in the men's 10 m air pistol might add a second spot for Brazil as an exchange for the counterpart (women's 10 m air pistol). Source

    Looks like the updated list of quota places might be published by next week. If not, on the first week of May to pave its way on the distribution of tripartite invitational places.

    I hope he gets back in 2nd WOQT, and grab one of the two remaining Olympic spots. The competition gets even tougher, as some of medal hopefuls in his category are still aiming for the Olympic berth.

    Nevertheless, Lithuania has finally selected Venckaitis to compete for Rio 2016. Hopefully, Kazakevič or a female would join him in the roster, but the competition seemed too tough for them, as the remaining Olympic slots are running out towards the second meet of the WOQT. Congrats to Venckaitis! Btw, I thought Mindaugas Mizgaitis had competed in the 130 kg category. How come they chose Mantas Knystautas over him at the WOQT?

    Not sure if the team has been rejected. We'll know by tomorrow. I've just noticed that the GBR 4x100 m freestyle team fell outside the 2% consideration standard. Btw, here's the source.
