  4. Can’t quite hold it, fades away on the second half. Still top 10 though. Surely the Double for Rosie Brennan, nice CHF bonus for Christmas,
  5. Now this is cool. Averaging 145 miles per hour, the Italian State Police delivered a donor kidney last week from Rome to Padua—a journey of more than 300 miles—in around two hours https://www.thedrive.com/news/37625/italian-police-use-lamborghini-huracan-to-transport-kidney-300-miles-in-just-two-hours
  6. Good day also for - Andrew Young 3rd & James Cleugnet 8th. Both will be hoping Dresden goes ahead - there’s a team relay on Sunday, will have a great chance. Andrew Musgrave will also be looking forward to today’s 15k ITT.
  7. Like I say, we have precisely zero tracks* yet regularly out-perform many nations that do have tracks. Why? Because we have lottery finding. * To be exact, about 50m of narrow-gauge railway near Bath to practise starts.
  8. Another Geiger Counter! He is red hot! Melting down the hill! Glowing with pride! More radiation jokes saved up for later.
  9. Think this is true of lots of sports now. The modern model for funding Olympic Sports is that money follows medals. So Finnish money, for example, now goes to freestyle, Swedish money goes to CC & Biathlon, Latvian money goes to Bob/Skeleton/Luge etc etc, and so lots of traditional historic sports just get left with only 9-10 nations seriously competing.
  10. Finally, a sliding sport the Germans are not very good at!
  11. Phew, top 4 all clear, v at the moment. Rostorguevs a big gainer, will do his traditional 2/5 on Shot 4. 1 & 2, Norwegians all miss!
  12. Big snow in Hochfilzen now, seemingly the only place in the Alps not to have any. Will slow the leaders down on lap one. Samuelsson crashes!
  13. Well, she had to dig deep to keep up on legs 1&2, so naturally she will be in trouble on leg 3.
  14. Vlhova messes up! Bassino again!
  15. Guy from Alice Robinson’s ski company is hiding in the toilets now.
  16. Think the team management should force skiers to pay for spare rounds in cash out of their own pockets. Proceeds to go to the technicians’ beer fund.
  17. Good leg from Elvira to outski Herrmann. Well done Lardschneider & Sanfilippo, both outperforming their normal form.
  18. Think she is. Maybe just does not react well to altitude. Groans from the fans, or there would be if there were any, as Austria go on the loop.
  19. Everyone in trouble, Germany & Norway on the loop, Italy clear! That’s a great leg from Lardschneider.
  20. Fell & damaged her rifle, so had trouble with the manual reloads, according to UK Comms.
  21. Off we go in Hochfilzen. Knotten 5/5 after last week’s nightmare. right to the back.
  22. 30 men down. It’s in the books now!
