  1. Belgium should win. That will give us an Australian vs. France rematch. This time, the Opals will be playing against the French team + the refs
  2. Now France gets to dance with the Belgiums. This is where France gets off the TGV.
  3. After seeing the so called "elite" PG's of the world, Caitlin is already WAAYYY better than ANY PG outside Team USA. The world does not have a SINGLE PG that plays in the same GALAXY as Clark. Name ONE PG outside of Team USA that has her BBIQ, court vision, passing, or can shoot like CC. None of them can guard Caitlin one on one period!!! By the 2026 FIBA Women's World Cup in Germany, she will have at least 120 WNBA games of ex- perience. At worst she will be a Team USA second rotation PG.
  4. The Opals are looking to sneak in and steal a Bronze. I fully expect Belgium & Germany to advance tomorrow. IF the Opals get pass the Serbians they will have to face Team USA and and will lose BADLY !!! Then the Opals will play either Belgium or Germany in the Bronze medal game, that is a bridge too far.
  5. Wednesday, August 7, 2024, 02:00 AM Local Time: 11:00 AM (GMT+2) Let us see if Serbia can make it two for two tomorrow?
  6. A post from another website: Updated projected QF pairings: Germany Wins!!! 1. USA vs 8. Brazil - Team USA 4. Serbia vs 5. Australia - Serbia 3. Canada vs 6. France - Canada 2. Germany vs 7. Greece - Germany
  7. A post from another website: Updated projected QF pairings: If Germany wins vs France 1 USA vs 8 Brazil 4 Serbia vs 5 Australia 3 Canada vs 6 France 2 Germany vs 7 Greece If France wins vs Germany 1 USA vs 8 Brazil 4 Serbia vs 5 Australia 3 Canada vs 6 Germany 2 France vs 7 Greece Let’s go France? So we get that lovely 3 v 6 matchup? LOL
  8. Loved Sabrina Ionescu's FU three pointer against Belgium!!!
  9. These highlights are a compilation of Caitlin Clark's first 26 games in the WNBA. CC will be either the starting PG or at WORST, the second rotation PG for Team USA at the 2026 FIBA Women's World Cup. By then, she will have a minimum of 120 WNBA games of experience. This is a SAMPLE of her offensive production. Caitlin Clark is the first rookie in WNBA history to post 400+ PTS, 100+ REB and 150+ AST in a season. CC now has 445pts, 151reb, 213ast, & 71 three pointers by her 26th game. CC leads the WNBA in most points scored or assisted this season 915 in 26 games [This WNBA season has 40 games]. CC has broken the rookie rec- ord of most points scored or assisted in a season of 900 points set by Breanna Ste- wart in 2016 [34 games]. CC has scored or assisted on 915 points in 26 games. She is by far the most guarded player in the WNBA and yet has set these records. She faces blitzes, doubled teams, and face guarding on nearly every possession in every game she has played. She is the best player in the world age 22 or younger. Name a better NON Team USA point guard [that includes PG's that play for other national teams]. I have a simple question, who on your national team can guard her one on one? Your coaching staff cannot devise a defensive scheme she has not seen. Watch all 19:45 of Caitlin. Then you will see WHY she is a TRANSCENDENT player. Caitlin Clark's Best Assists from her first 26 games of the 2024 WNBA Season I defy ANYONE to show me in this Olympics a non Team USA female basketball player that is anywhere NEAR Caitlin Clark as a passer much less her equal. I will take it a step further, I defy ANYONE to show me a NON AMERICAN female basketball player on planet EARTH that is anywhere NEAR Caitlin Clark as a pass- er much less her equal.

I made the SAME prediction MONTHS ago.
  16. Satou Sabally https://www.espn.com/wnba/story/_/id/40023946/wings-planning-post-olympics-return-satou-sabally Will NOT play in the WNBA until AFTER the Olympics. That means she will be RUSTY when/if she plays for Germany in the Olympics.
  17. You can't say or claim that status UNTIL you know the two Euro Teams that will join your group. Besides, now Team Canada has the opportunity to prove their FIBA World Cup Bronze Medal was not a FLUKE! 2. Spain, 3. Germany, 4. Serbia, 5. Australia, & 6. Latvia all have more to prove than Canada. Spain & Germany have the most pressure on them of all of the European Teams. Spain has to make up for their FIBA world Cup Debacle and Germany has to prove their Gold Medal was not a FLUKE. Serbia choked against Germany but they did not have Jokić. Australia is hanging on for dear life and they cannot afford to finish 6th or lower. Latvia is playing with house money with little to no pressure outside of their own country. Canada's youth player pipe line is DRYING up and their current roster might prove to be a Golden generation.
  18. As for Group C; it is time to skin the cat, ALIVE, fillet the 和, and do a drive by of Satou's house with our M1A2 V4 and a volley of HESH rounds. The Group of Death Group A China Spain Serbia Puerto Rico The Easy Group Group B Australia Canada France Nigeria The we don't have to play the Moon Monster until the Qtrs. Group Group C United States Belgium Japan Germany Australia, Canada, China, France, Serbia, & Spain can ALL meet the Moon Monster in the Qtrs. depending on their overall record.

  21. Olympic Basketball Tournaments Paris 2024 Draw set for March 19 https://www.fiba.basketball/olympics/women/2024/news/olympic-basketball-tournaments-paris-2024-draw-set-for-march-19 Pot 1 - USA, the winner of OQT Spain and Germany Pot 2 - Serbia, Australia and the winner of OQT Latvia Pot 3 - Canada, France and the winner of OQT Puerto Rico Pot 4 - The winner of OQT Greece, Japan and South Sudan Due to broadcast considerations, Team USA will be placed in Group C.
  22. As Defending Olympic champions, Team USA will be drawn into either Group B or Group C.
  23. I did not write this. A post from another website. Hooping Actually FIBA probably seeds the Olympics Qualifying tournaments into the Draw. So Australia's Olympics draw is probably. Pot 2 with Serbia and Latvia OQT (so wouldn't play them in rounds or quarters) Pot 1 - USA/Germany / OQT Spain. Pot 2 - Serbia, Australia, & Latvia Pot 3 - Canada, France, & Lithuania OQT. Pot 4 - Japan, South Sudan, Slovenia (or Greece) OQt. Likely 7 Euro teams. Just getting to the quarter finals could be tough going. USA and Canada would be in separate pools. USA/France/Slovenia would be a tough draw. Teams will be hoping to draw Japan or South Sudan out of Pot 4. Probably higher odds of the USA pool drawing Greece/Slovenia out of Pot 4. If Australia draws in the USA Pool, then can probably expect France/Lithuania and Slovenia/Greece. Ouch! The draw gets interesting if there are any upsets at the Olympic qualifying tournaments.
