They are scheduled to take a late flight out of DXB & reach Bishkek around 4am. Still tough on them , unlucky but this wasn’t the fault of federation or the wrestlers.

Sreeshankar out injured & will miss the Olympics

Long jumper M. Sreeshankar who had already qualified for Paris achieving the OQS is out of Paris Olympics due to knee injury sustained during his training.

There is conflicting understanding of the qualification document. I still understand that 2 boats qualify irrespective of gender & placing provided they finish in qualifying position.

Already has a quota in M1X

I even have doubts re the qualifying document. Even I understood that one NoC can qualify 2 boats irrespective of gender or placings. But then someone shared another document which said only if those boats win their respective races will they qualify from continental qualifiers. Either way I am still hoping & expecting 2 boats from this qualifiers.

The list is long from TT to field hockey to badminton. I honestly don’t have enuff time or connectivity to drag out old posts with similar contexts.

I am not Predicting but expecting as we have a fair and equal chance! Also for your benefit the literal meaning of those 2 words are interrelated you only predict what you expect! Don’t know why my expectation for my country triggered you!

I have seen fans expecting quotas even in most unrealistic cases & I can’t expect quota for in a 2 boat race for a quota place?? The other race we are going to win & we COULD win M1X too..thus my expectations!

Why not? Going by the Asian games results (which was just 6 months back) we should be favourites for LM2x ( we are comfortably clear of the field) It will between & on who wins the M1x .

Wrong! We can qualify two boats. ( There is no gender restriction) This is self-explanatory from the rowing qualification document.

Its a shame we are not sending any women scullers, not for qualification purpose but for experience. We lack so much in our women’s rowing programme. Hopefully we can get the men’s quotas. Do you know if we are sending a team for sprint canoe asian Olympics qualifiers? We did send a team for World championships.

10m AP (M) quota places : &

gets the only missing quota place & we now have a full 16/16 in rifle & pistol. Palak gets the quota in 10mAP in Rio at the final qualifiers Our 20th quota in shooting (largest ever) With this quota place have qualified 67 athletes in 11 sports ( counting the 7 in badminton & 1 in weightlifting which are yet to be made official)

We will be sending a full team in Rifle & Pistol to Paris Getting our 16/16th quota place. ( Although we might have a double starter in 10m & 25m AP women) This is also our 20th shooting quota & we will be sending our largest shooting contingent ever to Paris, hopefully we get some medals in Paris after disappointment in Rio & Tokyo. We now have qualified 67 athletes (excluding reserves/alternates) in 11 sports ( counting 1 from weightlifting & 7 from badminton, which will be made official this month end.) The long trip to Rio ,targeting for this single quota is a success
