  6. Anna Hall is going to the Olympics! 6614 points performance from her in the heptathlon at the US Olympic Trials! One of my favourite athletes, for more reasons than one…
  7. 2-1, Panthers lead again!! Sam Reinhart snipes* the puck short side to give the Panthers the go ahead goal with 4:49 to go in the 2nd period!! Kulikov with a brilliant save on the goal crease just seconds earlier.
  8. 70.89m for Valerie Allman in the 1st round (and 2nd flight) of women’s discus throw qualies! @Biathlonfan
  9. Marquis Dendy also will not qualify for the Olympics with a best mark of 7.65m in the men’s long jump final at the US Olympic Trials. Wont be seeing him and his bucket hat at Paris @Olympian1010
  10. 2 1/2 minutes later Janmark ties it up.
  11. 1-0, Panthers!
  12. 2023 women’s discus throw World Champion Laulauga Tausaga will not be going to the Olympics, as she bombs out with 3 no marks in qualification at the US Olympic Trials Whats going on with the throwing events
  13. 12.92 WL for Grant Holloway in the men’s 110m hurdles HEATS at the US Olympic Trials Edit: His 2nd fastest mark in history.
  14. Game 7, let’s do this!
  15. Just making sure, because I think Wikipedia got it wrong again, but I believe Katie Vincent is entered in two events? Edit: Yep, she finished 1st in Trials.
  16. I think it’s possible, but I wouldn’t say it for sure will happen. Some athletes will crumble under pressure, and* be nowhere near their PB’s. Others will thrive. Personally, I’m thinking 49.15 or so.
  17. Khamica Bingham (athletics) https://www.instagram.com/reel/C8nEdL1vTjM/?igsh=eTFvNG1hczluMXdo 2nd best women’s 100m runner in Canada, would’ve been a massive boost to our 4x100m relay (not in terms of medals, but maybe making the final) @Topicmaster1010 @james89 @Surlympics @intoronto @NearPup
  18. Thought I included FAA, Fernandez, and Dabrowski in tennis, but apparently not. That’s 295. Raonic and Andresscu, if they take PR’s, would be 297. Judo I already included in our total. I’d say 305-310 overall.
  19. Dearica Hamby will replace Brink https://www.instagram.com/p/C8m6C1nRldz/?igsh=azE2MzB0M3ZiaXh4 Howard might also be out injured, with an ankle injury, but how serious it is/her timeline for recovery has yet to be determined.
  20. A lot of sprinters don’t say they’re going to break the WR nearly every time they race, and don’t get anywhere near it though
  21. That’s not correct. As I said on the first page (but pretty much everyone seemed to forget), I have the number of athletes and events updated daily on the very first reply, anything else is inaccurate. We have 292, with all athletics Q’s (including the relay athletes). No Andresscu/Raonic (I’m waiting for Tennis Canada to publish a team selection article), and no athletes through the Road to Paris have been calculated in yet.
  22. Canoe sprint team officially named! https://www.instagram.com/p/C8mrfejO1T6/?igsh=MWZ5ZDltenExazg5dg==
