I would be ok with 2-3 maybe 4 new events but those which have many participating nations already, not thinked up in few seconds and without consultation with athletes and coaches (like it is with extreme canoeing) and if those changes doesn't affect already exisiting events. For example women's C-1 in slalom could be added to programme without removing men's C-2. If IOC can't increase number of available quotas then they shouldn't do any changes.

Some rules should be introducted which events can be added to Olympic programm after an period of time, not all at once. By this Olympics can turn into X Games and can lost interest of some viewers.

Yes, but since when women's monobob is held during World Championships or there are World Cup events? It isn't like 2 years? IOC shouldn't add new events so quickly, they should firstly check if this event will be really attractive and competitive. If there are like 4-5 nations which takes this event seriously, it isn't good for me. The IOC and IF's should somehow encourage other countries to participate or help introduce training programs to less "traditional" countries in already exisisting since many years men's events or two-man women's event first to make this sport more worldwide.

Thanks for that video and explanation. I never heard about this. You wrote that this is popular in Asia, it should stay in just Asian Games, shouldn't be added to Olympics. Adding bunch of almost non-existing disciplines to Olympics isn't good idea (like in winter games with women's nordic combined and women's monobob). Actually why women's monobob is added and the men's monobob isn't? This all is so confusing for me.

I hope that none above disciplines won't be added after all, or just 3-4 of them. Such things like BMX flatland, coastal rowing, extreme canoeing and high diving should be reserved only for X Games, not Olympics... IMO removing/changing "traditional" events isn't good, not mentioning about reducing number of quotas and athletes.

I'm surprised that actually an international sport event will be held in Canada during Covid-19. If I'm not wrong since March they cancelled all international sports events here.

I don't know what is going on with our athletes in this season in every winter sport. All of them are much worse than last year and starts bellow their skills, even here in luge in relay we were better than just Korea
