  1. YEEEESSSSS!!! Been waiting for this announcement for a while now. 2018 just didn't feel the same without NHL players. Just hoping that COVID doesn't change plans. So excited to finally get to see our older generation of players (Crosby, Bergeron, Tavares, Pietrangelo, etc.) play along side the new wave of players that have risen to the top of the NHL (McDavid, MacKinnon, Point, Makar, etc.). Hopefully we can come away with the gold medal. Depending on who the GM picks, this has the potential to be one of the most skilled Team Canada's ever. And it's not just Canada, the level of international hockey talent is greater than ever. Every country besides China will be sending some great players and I expect that there'll be a lot of competitive matches. Can't wait for the tournament to start!

  2. I don't think this is classification issue. If there was classification issue, he would have been disqualified. I think it must be some issue which came up after his first throw which resulted in yellow card and removal of his remaining throws. I think Syrian also had atleast one of his throws removed retrospectively. During live scoring, he went ahead of Indian and then dropped back below him. I am sorry, but these things should not happen. You can't come back half a day later and say sorry we made a mistake, you are not eligible for this competition or sorry, the WR throw that you made yesterday was a foul and our judges couldn't spot it in real time. All these things should be handled before competition. You want to delay the competition, delay it but all these issues need to be solved in real time. Not a day after.

  4. Yep, lots of free passes here and controversial decisions -- always beneficial to Japan, of course -- at the 2020 Olympics. I hope they never host anything related to the Summer Olympics again while I'm alive. It's easier for me to be elected the most handsome man in the world than it is for all of this to have been a mere coincidence.

  6. With no sports where athletes receive subjective scores, it's hard for Japan to keep pushing for a higher place on the medal table. I mean, except for Equestrian. My point is: no surfing, skateboarding or gymnastics to artificially increase their medal tally this time. Not one single gold medal earned by the Japanese in these sports at the 2020 Olympics was deserved, in my opinion.

  7. With just a few events to go, and have secured 1-2. The others are too close to call. and will fight for 3rd, and for 5th (Ukraine needs a gold medal in Shooting), and and for 7th. has secured 9th place. has a pretty good chance of ending in the top 10 with only 19 medals! They have 14 golds, and has 13. Germany has to win gold in the last Shooting event in order to get 10th place (which is difficult, but possible since they have a world class shooter competing). With 10 golds, is not entirely out of the equation just yet, but it would have to win at least 4 gold medals in the last day.

  8. She probably won't play again in 2021 allthough there is the big Indian Wells tournament to be played in October. Idk if her sponsors would be fine with her sitting out 2022 unless she wants to play the martyr card or whatever. Due to lack of match practice she's tailed off on hard courts this summer and clay & grass were never her strong suits to begin with. This is a complete shitshow from a sporting pespective and the question is whether Osaka wants to be a tennis player or just a full-time celebrity sitting on all those big endorsements?

  13. I serious think Hungary should play without spectators. This is disgusting behavior from them. Racism don’t belong in football.

  14. Trump doing U-turns is just a typical reflection of 2-party political system in US. I mean it's not a personal Trump stuff, it may apply to every GOP member. What else you may expect him to say like "Thanks my successor to fulfill my to-do list and take the blame I deserved"? Hell no. GOP will only take advantage of this chaos as an opportunity to affect midterm elections. It's just very pure politics.

  15. Well it's kinda right that if failed to transfer the equipment to US then should destroy/bomb them. Otherwise it's a huge amount of money for Taliban sell them in black market especially something like helicopter .

  17. Shouldn't education be a little sooner on that list? Your order seems definitely valid, but other than that, one would imagine a well-educated group of people would - in the long run - be better able to sustain itself than a group of people where a large majority lacks even basic education. Of course in the short term, food, water and shelter are top priorities.

What US and some its value sharing allies don’t understand is that in poor countries with poverty what people urgently need is not freedom or democracy. They may even never think about that. What they need is food and clean water. The next step is meat, shelter and land. The next next step is money, education and healthcare. The final is step is dignity, recognition, freedom and democracy. But the west just skip all this and tell them democracy cures all and you should fight and die for it.

If you dislike some political leaders it does not mean you have a right to destroy whole country. Saddam is bad, lets bomb whole Iraq, Gadafi is bad so Libya must be destroyed....
