Same thing went for the men in at least the last three years: nothing too weird or something at the top of the results in terms of movement. dcro 10,179 Posted November 23, 2019 #33 Share Posted November 23, 2019 Hopefully run 2 gets cancelled so that C/K get their first win (instead of dropping to 13th by the end). Andry84 1 #banbestmen
dcro 10,179 Posted November 23, 2019 #34 Share Posted November 23, 2019 So luge announcer started talking about possible new nations who can reach the podium. I thought he was ridiculous since that's pretty much impossible in luge, but then of course Run 1 ended with Poland claiming the lead. #banbestmen

dcro 10,179 Posted November 23, 2019 #36 Share Posted November 23, 2019 C/K And apparently I correctly predicted 13th place for them. #banbestmen

heywoodu 13,557 Posted November 23, 2019 #38 Share Posted November 23, 2019 Apparently Poland would have been the first new nation with a World Cup podium since Canada (Tyler Seitz got a 3rd in 2002 to open their account). Poland’s program has been showing some real signs of improvement in the last three seasons. I think it might be a few years, but I can see them finding the podium if they continue to improve. “Sport has the power to change the world. It has the power to inspire.
