  1. So summary of 9th March, 7 Cases in Slovakia (+2 Today) 1st confirmed case in Košice, the 26 years old guy arrived last week from France..and 1 guy in Martin a city in the middle of the country. +4 Slovaks (Family) in quarantine in Austria +2 Slovaks (Couple of fiancee) in Bali Results, the prime minister with the ministry of health and the crisis crew ordered from tomorrow a complete ban of all sport events, cultural events and social events in the country for the next 14 days without exceptions ! Closed all high schools and colleges in the Bratislava, Nitra, Trenčín, Trnava and Košice districts, almost all Universities and ordered to empty the dormitories, The universities will continue their studies only in the form of self-study at home or online studies In the next meeting of the crisis staff they will probably consider also the ban for religious services (masses) - expect riots here.. Also we have one huge problem, apparently we suffer a lot from a lack of medical devices such as respirators. allegedly we will apparently ask Hungary for help in this matter. the rest we will produce in one factory and another will have to be sew by prisoners..
  2. Huge troubles for Matej Tóth, the Dudince 50 schedulled for 21 March, was his RACE where he was supposed to qualify for Tokyo, now with all sport events canceled in Slovakia, he lost probably his last chance to qualify...our Athletics federation already informed they will try to register him as soon as they´ll find a 50k race somewhere, no matter where.... Since he DNF the last worlds farce race he does not have any chance to qualify via ranking, his only chance is to compete somewhere to earn the required standard...well, things does not look better, do you know by any chance a 50k race being held somewhere maybe I would be able to send then a mail to our athletics federation with the information
  3. The prohibition will be strict he said. No sport matches or events held in the country at all he said...there will be no differences between a local single football lower league match or an event with international attendance he said ! ...even a event without spectators is too risky he said...so, yeah lets cancell every sport for two weeks in the country... 14 days without our hockey extraliga...can you even believe that ? now during the crucial part of the season right just before the play-offs

The sporting events in the mentioned districts can be held but only behind closed doors, One of our confirmed cases is a female public transport tramway rider, so all vehicles are now once again disinfected, for the second time in one week

  8. SVK Population 5 and half million NED Population 17+ million Anyway, the best procedure to avoid the general public panic is to show to the people you are doing something to avoid the epidemic, our politicians have long long years experiences of how "artificially" calm it´s nervous people

  14. Happy Women´s Day to all our charming and special female members in the forum !
  15. Reminder, this was supposed to be the last tournament prior to the world ranking that will be used for the Beijing 2022 Olympic qualifiers. So, I guess they will just have now to use the current 2019 world ranking ? Anyway, my biggest concerns are for the M U18 Division IA tournament schedulled in Slovakia this April, so far it is not moved or cancelled, but I am pretty sure it will be somehow later, which would be really unfortunate for this generation that is supposed to be one of our strongest, and expecting a gold and quick return to the elite in this category...if we would need to wait another year, that should be a bigger problem since the next year generation is weaker
