For example :SVK has already a posibility to field 2 Mixed Trap teams (Zuzana Štefečeková and Erik Varga won both single quotas in individual events + they won quota in team trap event - thus additional team quota meaning chance for double starters in also both individual events), but is very likely our NOC will use the second team quota and swap it for athletes in Air Pistol or Rifle events, if we´ll fail to qualify anyone in these mentioned competitons.

Just to clarify, I don't think you can swap the mixed team quota. You can swap a quota place only for another quota in the same gender. So, you can swap either Zuzana's quota (she can still participate with help of Mixed team quota) for a quota in Women's Air Pistol or Rifle or Erik's quota for a quota in Men's Air Pistol or Rifle.

Mind a newbie ask a question?

I picked two random shooting events from 2016 Olympics: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shooting_at_the_2016_Summer_Olympics_–_Men's_10_metre_air_rifle and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shooting_at_the_2016_Summer_Olympics_–_Men's_10_metre_air_pistol and I see there have been 46 and 50 shooters participating. Now when I check https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shooting_at_the_2020_Summer_Olympics_–_Qualification#10_m_air_rifle_men (or any other discipline) I see there are 29 quotas available. Does that mean we'll see only 29 shooters at actual Olympics? Seems quite steep of a step down in terms of number of participants...

Total number of qualified athletes reduced by 30 from 390 in Rio 2016 to 360 in Tokyo 2020

for number of participants per event there is double starters for athletes whom qualified in any other event and achieved MQS in any other event

you can check below file for number if entries by NOC "DS means double starter"

OG BRA 2016 Number of Entries by NOC 20160718.pdf

Triple starter = competing in 3 events which is possible. Actually if a shooter with quota in 10m Air Rifle gets MQS in Trap, he can compete there as well.

So triple starters are possible in 2 individual events and 1 mixed team? Provides MQS reached.
