"the resentment of a bunch of mediocre people" is one of the biggest latinamerican problems for me, dont worry, it not just Mexico.

Tell us about your success konig, surely you have your own buffet and you're making them millions

I dont think somebody is envying me, im a medium class person like my family, in another hand, i dont envy or have resentment with the rich people but, you must acept, is something very common in Argentina and latinamerica.

European qualifications will resume somewhere outside Great Britain due covid restrictions in country and fears about new variant of virus. It's still scheduled to be resume in 22th April.

Boxing World Qualifier cancelled by the IOC Task Force

https://www.marca.com/juegos-olimpicos/2021/02/15/602af10cca474155528b456d.html

Quotas that were going to be allocated there are going to be reallocated to the Continental Qualifiers. Also,  BTF ranking would give the quotas left.

This is awfull news. Giving quotas after already terminated events (Africa/Asia and half of Europe) doesn't sound very fair or clean.

If the IOC can plan to celebrate an event in June, why not just axe boxing???

Indeed a bad change of criteria

Confirmed that shame

Criteria are completely changed, witch no-sensed continental rapresentation and more no-sensed old ranking. Shame.

    • Some other fast swims today include a new commonwealth record by Duncan Scott in the 400m free and a European record in the 100m IM by Marchand. Watch out for some quick swims in the 200m free and 200m IM later on.
    • Last stop on this TISC Central Asia tour: Turkmenistan    One of the most closed and censored lands in the world, Turkmenistan is a place with incredible things to visit, with a beautiful desert landscape, historical ruins from ancient civilisations, and the unique "Door to Hell".   But it is also a country where everything is controlled and restricted (we had no access to social networks and tons of blocked websites, can only enter with invitation letter, with a predefined tour and accompanied by a guide at all times), with giant megalomaniac buildings created in order to maintain a cult of the leader and its regime. It basically felt like what i imagine is North Korea (but without the hate for americans).   It is eccentric, it is impressive, but above all, it is bizarre. Here is a patriotic catchy song i heard when was traveling there. .      Mähri Pirgulyýewa – Halkyň arkadagly zamanasy

    • Took a couple of videos, but completely forgot to take even a single picture and the file size of the videos are too big for Totallympics so I had to find a site to upload it to   https://streamable.com/ga23lv   Vibes at the game were good, place was loud, and I downed a $6 poutine from Costco before the game. Unfortunately, the game didn’t go so well, it took us a solid 45 minutes to actually start playing hockey besides some bursts here and there, and after coming back from down 1-3 we gave up the OT goal less than a minute in (Typical Canucks fashion), but  Lankinen stole us a point, they had so many solid opportunities on him and we had no business staying close.    Really mediocre start to the season for the Canucks so far, even with 11 points in 8 games, a lot of players not showing up (Petey, Soucy, Myers, Hög, Miller, DeBrusk, although for DeBrusk he’s been known to have a streaky game) and our power play and overtime have been fucking dogshit (power play has been like this for years). Shoutout to Garland, Hughes, Sherwood and Lankinen though they’ve been incredible so far
