Why is it impossible to find any information for Continental Cups? FIVB part is still showing 2012, cev does have some info, but everyone else, no idea, it's ridiculous!

Anyone know why Canada's second team does not get a quota here; http://www.fivb.org/EN/BeachVolleyball/OGRanking_W.asp

You need to compete in 12 tournaments to be eligible.

No idea. I just discovered this news on our Volleyball federation site. I don´t know anything else. Maybe it will be unveiled later, the tournament starts 18th September, there 2 quotas to be awarded for both finalists.

:CZE Czechs Hermannová/Nausch Sluková had 2 MATCH BALLS/ OLYMPIC BALLS against the Latvians. Unfortunately did not make it through. Such big pity. Cause they currently are on the qualifying spot for Tokyo but due to Slukova's injury they have not participated enough tournaments to be eligible to qualify to Olympics. Hopefully their health will stay strong till Tokyo.

Teams that will represent Brazil in Tokyo:

Men's: Alison/Álvaro Filho and Evandro/Bruno Schmidt
Women's: Ágatha/Duda and Ana Patrícia/Rebecca

In Men's, 3/4 athletes that were in Rio will return do the Games (Álvaro is the only one who didn't participate previously). Current champions Alison and Bruno are back, although in different teams. In Women's, only Ágatha (silver in Rio) is an olympic athlete. Curiously enough, she was "rejected" by her partner Barbara who allegedly thought Ágatha would be too old to play in Tokyo. Likewise, Evandro was rejected by his partner André after the World title in 2017, because André thought he would stand a better chance of Olympic qualification with another player. Now both Barbara and André will watch the Olympics at home

    • Interesting, for only 2 months i think i have seen some kind of coin from all of the big countries - Germany, Italy, Spain, Holland, France, Portugal, Belgium, Finland, Ireland and yes the 2 euro from Croatia. But some of them were the smaller ones, 10, 5, 2 cents.    Expectedly there aren't any from the smaller countries so far. Nothing from the Baltics, Cyprus, Slovenia, Malta, Andorra etc. But also a bit surprising i haven't seen any from Greece yet.    Don't know from what part of Italy are you, but it's safe to say that when summer hits there will be a lot of Bulgarians visiting Rome, so i'm sure they'll bring some of our coins to spread around.
    • I choose to collect only coins in circulation (and I have also found coins in circulation that should not be on the market; you can find a bit of everything). From my experience, it takes 4-5 years for coins to reach southern Italy, so I have no idea how it will work in Bulgaria. Incidentally, I am curious to see when I will see my first Bulgarian coin. I have not yet seen a Croatian coin (introduced in 2023!).
    • Yes, i saw that there are a lot of commemorative coins. But to get some of those, i would need to buy them, as i don't know how much of them are in circulation. And the chances of such making it to Bulgaria are rather slim.    Still, if i find some sports ones on a good price, maybe i will order a few.

    • Have you already started looking for the hundreds of commemorative 2 euro coins? There are loads of them, including sports-themed ones.
    • Don't know if someone else is collecting Euro coins, but since we joined the zone it's been fun looking at what you can get.    It took only 2 months, but today i finally got my first Slovakian coin.  @hckošice
