Funny thing is that they have a decent chance at qualifying to the Olympics as both Australia and New Zealand can qualify here or in 2019

not a good day for Italy in Aarhus...in the 470 class, Ferrari & Calabrò have gone down to the 13th place among the men, meanwhile the girls are lost in the rankings

Coccoluto in the men's Laser has won a race, but then he has had only an 18th place in the second one...

no comment on the performances in the other 2 classes racing today...

as I feared before the start of this event, I guess that only Nacra and RS:X would eventually give us some satisfaction...

Finally made it to the Championships. Lovely big crowds and a great atmosphere for Ida and Marie's win! Meanwhile some Nacras are on the way out to test the waters.

Sadly my phone's camera isn't good enough to catch the action and I haven't found the charger for my camera. Will try to catch them on the way back in.

I don't have the illusion that any of us can make better photos of the action than the professionals, I'm mostly interested in a general picture of how it's looking there at the coast :p

    • Some Lithuanian discus results from back home got another men over 60 with Armandas Miliauskas finishing with a new pb of 60.40[he's 24 so i'm not really cheering this a whole lot,but hey he's crossed that barrier now],of course Andrius Gudžius won the comp plenty of fouls as is usual for him early in the season and at home but a 65.77 is a solid opener for someone who had no ramona plans ,it's by a few cm better than what Ceh did at the european throwing cup and actually exactly what janssen threw to win there.
