[OFF TOPIC] Politics Thread

Third night in a row where a “random” or “mass shooting” has made national news. Their lives apparently mean nothing to their fellow Americans, so it’s not really news I guess? :dunno:

Sad to hear that one person has passed, but that’s statistically better than average, so it’s whatever. There will probably be some outrage towards the NRA on social media, maybe a small vigil tonight, perhaps even a speech or two, and then we’ll all fuck off and act like this is normal. At least some people will get to pray to their fake gods.

Cmon’ Bernie

Notable gains from Yang and Bloomberg. I’ve been saying for a while that support for them is growing. If Biden wins the primary, Sanders should make Yang/Bloomberg his VP and run on an independent ticket.

A Sanders/Bloomberg ticket sounds hilarious! But would destroy any hope of beating Trump (Sanders on an independent ticket would do so in general).

And well, gains? Too early to call. The polls have really been going everywhere the last week. All (notable) candidates could pick a poll and say that it shows them gaining.

Sure there are tendencies for both Yang and Bloomberg going up (Especially Bloomberg) but really not nearly enough momentum.
