Really interesting that the 3 nations that are dominating at the olympics so far (and probably overall) are also the best in women's gymnastics. Women's gymnastics seems to be a good indicator for the nations that are the best overall. Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached. However with how unpredictable gymnastics is at times recently I will be very pleased with any medal male or female - I feel like th golden era for GB gymnastics is coming to an end and with the chaos behind the scenes it will be hard for any future medal contenders to appear.
