Copa America 2019 invitees have been confirmed by Conmebol: Japan and Qatar will complete the 12 team field. For the first time since 1993 Mexico will not participate, giving priority to gold cup and new Concacaf league of nations.

what a fatal mistake from Morroco  the hosting of the 2026 is gone

In a letter to FIFA, Morocco raised questions over whether American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands would have a conflict in the vote. Although governed by the U.S., the quartet is considered to be four separate football nations by FIFA so each has a vote.

FIFA put onus on the federations to declare a conflict - FIFA currently not blocking the US territories quartet

It's time to speak about real football :p Cavese (the time who invented the Dale Cavese) won the play off of the italian 4th series!:clap: Actually, if the FIGC will remain the same rules, we can try to go in 3rd series!

    • There will be specialized double sculls...just not for an NOC if it is entering singles specialists.   Either enter 2 singles specialists, or 1 XD specialist pair.   But they can in theory compete in both events, I guess, if they qualify...our top M, I think, does both.   But there are 17M, 17W, and 30 Pairs allotted in the quota, so I don't think the intent is that every singles entry will be in doubles.   (Perhaps this gets to fall in line with Weightlifting, where due to max entry quota, an NOC can't enter in every event, even if they have the best athletes...here, unless you have a pair who qualifies in both.)

    • I read the Olympic qualification documents for weightlifting. A country can have the opportunity to send a maximum of 4 athletes in one gender, but the conditions are very strict.
    • world champion Jessica Schilder opened her season up with 19.78 in France.
    • wait! what???   so, there won't be specialized double sculls, but those boats would have to feature 2 single specialists if a Nation wants to enter 2 proper singles M+W??? tell me I misread the expalaination...
