The track is quite challenging.

Eliška Mintálová (W K1) had an accident during one of the last week training session when the water literally threw her boat on to a panel on shore,

nothing happened to the boat, but she broke her toe.

triple fracture and dislocation of the big toe.

However she does not want to lose her olympics debut such way and will compete even with this hurting handicap

On the bright side, the sandal combined with the white stuff on her feet in that bottom photo look very....Japanese :d

Part of our uniforms. I thought all nations will have some Japanese symbols on their uniforms :mumble:

Wow, we had a live two minutes of canoe slalom on TV :yikes:

With 27 participants, the top-24 going to the semis and Wegman having the 2nd time in run one after thirteen athletes, I think it's going fine :p

I like how we get special paint jobs on the canoe/kayaks every Olympics :d

I think it helps make the competition feel more special.

Slalom canoeing is an excellent way to test the picture quality of your providers’ streaming service.

Nice run for Marinić!

How many advance to the semifinals?

Sorry was not looking to the thread.

Top 15 in M C1 advance to the semifinals.

Tis is not like at the EC or WCH, athletes must start in both runs and only the Best of 2 runs count
