One of the legend of my favorite team (behind HC Košice ofc) the Calgary Flames, Jarome Iginla will officially announce his retirement in the following days

 

Thank you for everything you did for the Flames. Champion ! :(

:BRA Ricardinho (Volleyball), considered one of the best setters of all time, has announced his retirement last week. Among the titles, he was Olympic champion in 2004 (+silver in 2012) and world champion in 2002 and 2006.

:BRA Joanna Maranhão (Swimming) announced her retirement today. Probably our best female pool swimmer, she finished 5th in 400m individual medley in Athens 2004, the best placement obtained by a Brazilian woman swimmer at all times. Having won multiple Pan and South American Games medals (+ participation in 4 Olympic Games), she is also known for her social work, having inspired a law (against child sexual assault) with her name in Brazil.
