11.700 for Dipa on the Uneven Bars! This is a lot more than what I expected!

It looks like she might finish ahead of Belarus and Colombia! This is great news for India!

This would be quite a tragic end to Romania's run of 10 (!!) consecutive Olympic medals in the women's team event...every four years since 1976 they've won a medal.

Romania did 54.840 on FX, compared to 54.999 last year. Total 160.446 (vs 159.064 last year). Should be much better for qualification purposes.

Australia doing a nice job, although the beam was their low point just like in last year's Worlds.

I think he means in this group. I think the colombian girl can finish ahead of other gymnastics by the end of the day.

I would say Ireland, Jamaica and Belarus will place lower than Colombia. Especially Ireland. O'Reilly had an excellent competition last year and she barely broke the 50.0 total score. Dipa (IND) and Catalina (COL) will finish with a higher total score, I suppose.

    • I still shocks, that a country of 4-5 million inhabitants? can be a powerhouse in almost every winter sport + handball, football (most recently with Haaland) and athletics: Ingebrigtsen, Warholm, etc. With such a small population, they can't be missing out on any major talent, surely? This must be the best training system in the world...
    • FIFA announced the stadium and time for each match   for  Iran, it will be 2 matches in LA (and not just 1) and 1 in Seattle and luckily we avoided playing in Canada. absolutely nothing against the country, but there are just too many douchebag Iranian groups in Vancouver trying to mix everything with their stupid politics. it's better to stay away from them.   that can happen in US too but less likely. playing in LA is more like playing at home, at least I hope so. 2022 Qatar was a disaster from our point of view, hopefully this one remains only about football.
