Shiffrin already has a gold + probably another one in the combined, so she will get over it. This means that there are still only 4 women who defended their olympic title, none did it in the slalom. Believe me, as a half Swedish, I'm very much getting the same vibes as during the Danish Olympics of my lifetime in Rio! But there's still some way up to Torino 2006!
