Athletics, BMX, road cycling, weightlifting and I think swimming, although swimming championships don't get me too excited because there's too many athletes who you see everywhere

Football is my favorite in truth but not in any olympic context.

Athletics, Swimming, Artistic Gymnastics, Rowing and Weightlifting.

Track cycling has fallen in recent years due to removal of great events like the Points race but is still probably 6th on my list, just outside top 5. 

Archery is definitely a big highlight for me too at the Olympics.

 

Men's road race cycling is up there at the top also as one of the best events of the Olympics.
