Water Polo Qualification for Summer Olympic Games 2016

It seems that both french and canadians agree with the dutch federation.

Because it's true. We are definitely second in the group after Italy, because of those strange FINA rules. The rules say: first place is for the team with the best head-2-head goal difference. And then the second place is for the team that won against the other tied ranked team. And because Netherlands won again Spain they are second and not Spain.

Therefore France and Canada are trying as hard as they can to not win at the moment. France is trying harder, because it's 3-1 for Canada and almost halftime.

Ok, thank you for the explanation. Sadly enough, it's the first time in decades that water polo is broadcasted live on french tv and we end up with such a travesty.

France is a bit too obvious with their strategy, 6:2 for Canada at the moment. I hope they won't make it to the Olympics.

Another disgrace for sport, now i really hope that the dutch team will qualify and France hopefully will fail. It really reminds me of womens volleyball qualification event earlier this year. I hope that our team wont qualify, which is very unlikely anyway, otherwise the funding wont be cut and we will waste even more money for a dead sport. If you want to go to the olympics, then you have to earn it. Water polo is by far the weakest team sport, so if you cant even qualify in water polo, you dont deserve any funding at all.

Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached.
