the fact that 32 european nations won medals but SVk not is just ... don´t even know how to describe this shame. great 33rd position in the medal table with Andorra, Gibraltar and Malta...and Romania at least we are not the only one

We can grieve together, my Eastern European brother :d

If the lights light up exactly at the correct moment, he was definitely first, since his light went on first. Not sure if those lights are 100% accurate though?

I was having in mind a reply from "Eurotrip"  - "OMG this is Bratislava; we're in Eastern Europe" :d

And about the event itself, it has from my point of view been very good. Having the qualifications at the Museumspleijn worked very well and should be considered for the future (I know that the idea of having and event outside the stadium isn't completely new, but I believe it was the first time in a major championship).

It was easy getting into the stadium and we quickly got into the area. The food was decent and the medal plaza was great. The only two negatives for me were the very small a amount of merchandise and the terrible seats in the stadium (man, they were unconfortable). Possibly, the speakers could have been a bit less dutch. I don't mind that they speak some dutch, but I did sometimes feel that I missed something because I didn't understand what was said, This focus on the host country also meant extra focus on some events, which I personally feel sad about (I think all events should be equal when it comes to the "official" point of view.

It was a pleasure and I hope I will be back at some athletics championships in the near future.

Trachtenberg is cute but has no tits whatsoever

What a race by the Dutch 4x100m girls :d :yikes:

New NR and even a time with which they would clearly seriously challenge for an Olympic medal :woot:

Dafne now only needs to improve her hurdles in order to repeat Fanny Blankers-Koen. :d

    • It's all hogwash especially in the short attention span generation. Like nobody cares about Free Tibet anymore either. Free Palestine will last a lot longer due to Saudi Arabia becoming a sponsorship force in sports.   Israel is too weak in soccer to qualify from UEFA zone. The only time they qualified was from the Asian zone and they only beat Australia & New Zealand who were complete nobodies in the 1960s. No such luck in the 60 years since.
    • Oh I assure you FIFA dodger a bullet with Israel not qualifying…   But ya that’s kind of the thing, shut up and dribble is a mantra anti LGBT people have used often. I don’t think it’s hypocritical to remind them of their position
    • Ah, yes but that's not how pro athletes are taught in North America these days? Shut up & dribble is xenophobic, racist or whatever? The hypocrisy of some of these policies were exposed during 2022 World Cup already where the Saudis played it smart and waved their own "Free Palestine' slogans. Forget LGBT rights for a moment, how many 'Free Palestine' flags will be waved in 2026? Or will those be confiscated by default? Somehow I feel this won't be met with similar backlash when China clamped down on 'Free Tibet' in 2008 OG. Saudi Arabia is more important to global markets than Iran & Egypt
    • Wisła Płock just assumed 1st position after five consecutive draws. Must be first time ever a team on a five match winless streak actually moves up to league top.
    • Well ya, which is why the Egyptian and Iranian teams can shut up and dribble :P
