Adrian Meronk playing in U.S. Open today is a first Polish golfer to play in any major tournament. 

I wonder how his career goes in the coming years.

Terrible second part of Day 2 throwed him out of the competition. He finished with +9

He was doing very well until a triple bogey on the 11th which dropped him to +5. So he lost further four shots on the last seven holes.

This actually makes perfect sense (also speaking as someone who went through mandatory military service myself ).

Louis Oosthuizen (-11) leads by two after two rounds of The Open. Perfect weather conditions make the scores incredibly low so far.

Leaders underway in R3. Oosthuizen made six pars in a row while Jordan Spieth made four birdies in seven holes and joins him at -11.

Oosthuizen collapsed on the final day and dropped to 3rd. Collin Morikawa wins becoming the first man ever to win multiple majors on first attempt!
