Well done Maryna :cheer::hatoff:

For those, who don't follow me on Twitter or are too lazy to put into Google Translate (in both case - shame on you ;) ) - that's the best result since 1980s and Tlałka sisters.

That was some anticlimax at the end :lol:

But other than that, pretty nice competition with lots of close races.

The FIS has finally, at long last, figured out what format works for parallel races. And, shocker, it's the one they used for snowboarding until recently. They should let the snowboard people know.

One woman shows turn out to be pretty common for Winter sports these days? When one cools down (Shiffrin), there is already another ready to sweep the races. :dunno:

To be fair, we've only had technical events so far this season. At least five of the next seven races are speed events :d

By the way, just noticed something pretty cool: if all goes well, the Zagreb men's slalom will be the 500th World Cup men's slalom race in history :cheer:

And even better, nine days later the first of the Lauberhornrennen downhills in Wengen will be the 500th all-time men's World Cup downhill race, so a double jubilee within one and a half weeks :cheer:

    • Speak for yourself. Why should we give up our one great talent of the younger generation when we have no one else? Maybe from the same reason that the USA didn't give up Schiffrin to another country when she had 17-18...
