Nope, the French song was good and France would be absolutely right in pushing for disqualification for such behaviour.

No, don't worry, France did not do it .. and it is not France that created the controversy either. we will come back to you stronger next year .. and it may be our chance

I hope you're joking. How about being innocent until found guilty?

Or about...it being one's own choice anyway, half the artists were getting shitfaces with glass after glass of wine and beer anyway :p

DQ for a cocaine snorting move would be utterly insane

I only posted it because I thought it was funny people apparently don't have enough to do and so found something new to make a big deal of even though it's just not at all worth being a big deal.

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

There was no cocaine at all, people just fabricate stuff. The way he acted afterwards was completely normal. Does anyone really believe they will bring such stuff in the full arena, infront of thousands, their delegation being next to them all the time and cameras/phones everywhere...

I'm amused this festival of the third rate is taken so seriously .

Sure it can be a festival of gayness  but popular music ?

Over many decades there are only a small handful of acts and songs which have lasted even the most minor test of time . None recently .

I suspect it's appeal has something to do with continental Europe's huge resentment of the Anglosphere for so dominating popular music

Third rate? This is the World's largest Live Music Event.

Don't get anything wrong: More than anything, it's a massive entertainment show!

But songs not lasting "even the most minor test of time"? Is that test of time you remembering it? Sure only a few are hits at the level of Waterloo, but I can assure you that there are still plenty of songs that are remembered by millions!

And huge resentment? Really?

I'm pretty happy with the results this year, this is my top 10 of last night's show.

8/10

Reason why Iceland (14th) & Lithuania (12th) didn’t entered in my top 10 is because the former seems like a bad carbon copy from last year, when they quirkiness was refreshing; and of the former because the song was to me like a cupcake without the frosting: appealing but you need to polish it to completely sell it.

    • In terms of the first table, there were 2 clubs missing that are/could be apart of the Professional/Semi Professional English League system.    The first are the Wigan Warriors (club logo above), they play in Super League (1st Division) and are the defending back to back Super League champions. Not quite sure how I forgot to add them, but somehow I did.    The second are the Bedford Tigers (club logo above). They originally weren't set to join the system from non league but there are strong rumours that they are now set to join League 1 (3rd Division), replacing the aforementioned Cornwall.
