My predictions will go horribly wrong like every year, but this is what I expect today:

Jury Winner || Top5 || Top10 - :FRA  ||  :POR  :SUI  :MLT  :BEL  ||  :ISL  :ITA  :NED  :SWE  :BUL

Televote Winner || Top5 || Top10 - :UKR  ||  :ITA  :SUI  :ISL  :RUS  ||  :FIN  :FRA  :SRB  :LTU  :AZE

Overall Winner || Top5 || Top10 - :ITA  ||  :SUI  :FRA  :ISL  :UKR  || :POR  :RUS  :MLT  :FIN  :SRB

I don't have the balls to predict Switzerland winning because they are only 5th at the bookies, but this kinda suggest that I should. It's one of the few songs that can get a lot of points from both the audience and the jury, and I am afraid that jury will once again not give enough points to Italy.

Anyway, if the voting is all over the place like in 2019, that can help Switzerland to be the next Arcade, or any other song that ends up in the Top5 in both the televote and in the jury voting. Maybe it can also be Iceland, that's the most unpredictable song. France is the obvious jury favorite that needs enough points from the televote, Italy and Ukraine are the televote favorites, and will need the blessing of the jury to win.

:GBR humiliation.  Ungrateful sods. If it wasn’t for us y’all Europeans would still be listening to Sacha Distel, Nana Mouskouri & polkas.

Don't be so sure ; BTW My votes tonight will go to Barbara

thank you, italy and malta are a threat, and if switzerland wins this evening by singing in french, i would ask myself the question if it is not france itself which poses problem in view of other european countries, and not our language

The UK will be in the Top10 again when they will finally take it seriously and send someone who can actually achieve a good result. Or when they hire famous songwriters like Andrew Lloyd Webber and Diane Warren in 2009. Out of all the countries competing the UK should have the easiest job to win, for years my impression has been that either BBC is completely incompetent when it comes to Eurovision and music in general, or they are deliberately sabotaging themselves.

    • I hope she can do well, but I think she's not going to win any gold, as she's never been comfortable both with the shooting range and the altitude in Anterselva   I fear biathlon is going to be one of the biggest flops for us next year (the other disaster will come from the sliding sports, I'm pretty sure...rather, hopeless)   I think our medal table will heavily depend on the speedskating sports, on the big air events and on alpine snowboard, any other discipline's contribution is going to be marginal
    • Great to see luge being back underway, but annoying that the graphics aren't really working properly yet     They're showing the time gaps at all the splits, as per usual, but then at the finish there is only the actual time, and no time gaps, resulting in all the time having to mentally calculate the difference to see if someone gained or lost time in the last part.
    • Knockout Stage   Quarterfinals, 1st Leg (Part I) Tuesday 03.12.2024 - Schedule*   18:00 Sparta Prague (CZE) - Växjö Lakers (SWE) 18:00 Red Bull Salzburg (AUT) - Färjestad Karlstad (SWE) 19:45 Genève-Servette (SUI) - Pinguins Bremerhaven (GER)   *All times CET     Watch live   Check here for details of live TV broadcasts: https://www.championshockeyleague.com/en/fans/where-to-watch   All games are also live on the https://everyplay.live/ website (CHL Pass costs 9.99€/month), subject to geo-blocking restrictions in certain countries due to TV rights.
    • Yeah, that is quite a surprise overall. Our women's handball has regressed since the 2010s. Or maybe Spanish women's handball isn't as good as I thought.
    • / Ilke Wyludda (discus) passed away at the age of 55.
    • Poland defeat Spain 26 - 23 and did qualified to next round
    • Watched the mass start on Sunday & it just didn't work.  Runners starting from the fourth or fifth row back (ie everyone in places 20-70) were losing time through no fault of their own - just not enough room on the piste for 70+ starters.  So OK for an experiment, but not for real meaningful competition.
    • Tournament to crown the inaugural Women's United States Champion:   SmackDown - November 15th Bayley def. B-Fab and Candice LeRae   SmackDown - November 22nd Chelsea Green def. Blair Davenport and Bianca Belair   SmackDown - November 29th Michin def. Piper Niven and Lash Legend   Still to come: SmackDown - December 6th Naomi vs. Tiffany Stratton vs. Elektra Lopez   SmackDown - December 13th Semi-Finals: Bayley vs. Chelsea Green   Michin vs. TBA   The Final Match of the tournament will take place on "Saturday Night's Main Event" PLE (Premium Live Event) on December 14th.
    • Yeah that mirror thing was so weird. You literally need a maximum of two safety car laps (possibly just 1) to take away that 1 piece of stuff....but wait until someone unavoidably shatters it into 1000 little pieces     Intentionally or not, there is no way it was NOT going to happen at some point...
