same here Andrea is very frequent girls name.:d also my ex´s name is Andrea...but well thats another story..

 

in fact It´s easy to recognize slovak names, if the name end by "A" it´s girls name :) so if Mattia would be slovak name, it would be for a girl :d

It's mostly the same in Croatia. I remember laughing when as a kid I heard that Andrea is a male name in Italy. :p

well, not surprised to hear that, we have really too much things in common, just see the most frequent slovak surname :d Horváth/Horváthová ..I guess, no need to translate :d

Yep, also in Hungary Horvath is a very common surname, I don't know why. :dunno: Translation of "Horvath" into English is "Croat" for those who don't know. :d

 

And obviously Horvat is the most common surname in Croatia. :evil:

I had a housemate called Andrea who was a girl but she called herself Andi (which most often is used for boys - Andy).... all very confusing :d
