and last but not least no official announcement yet but it's looking like it'll be 207 athletes. All of the teams have been named, just waiting for one more athlete in cross-county skiing to be named. I'll link the announcement when it gets released. I noticed that with France, Switzerland and Italy's rosters, they included the bobsleigh reserves as part of the team size. If you take out the reserves, then France's team size is 159, Switzerland's size is 173 and Italy is 194. Also Finland gained an extra quota in Nordic Combined so their team size is now 103. -

I know you're kidding, but here I go. 29 medals, 12 golds. There, I said it. Rebounds in hockey, curling, and short track domination. They will struggle to find the top of the podium a lot of the time, but nowhere near the disaster of Beijing. I don't even think there will be tons of surprises, just the expected doing what's expected. Am I alone in feeling like there are very little predictions by publications this time around? Usually there are several online and in print predictions by now, but I can't find anything outside this site, besides a couple of figure skating and hockey ones. Not even Gracenote? -
Dupont has been in exceptional form these past few events, she could contend with Hasselborg, Gim, and Rui for bronze (I think Tirinzoni/Homan are a level ahead, upsets are possible), although I do agree it's hit or miss -

Nope. Our team has become too old. Stoch will be the oldest ski jumper at OG after Ammann & Fettner lack of nomination. Tomasiak might challenge for a Top 10, Stoch maybe for low teens at best and Wąsek should be fortunate to even make Top 30. Duets probably 6th place. -
It was announced that day after opening ceremony of upcoming Winter Games our president, ministry of sport and president of NOC will meet with Kirsty Coventry and talk about official submission of candidacy of Poland hosting either 2040 or 2044 Summer Games.
