I expect it will be a big flop. There is virtually no interest for it in the US, and I doubt there is much interest elsewhere either.

 

(I will actually go see one of the matches in Seattle, but more out of curiosity than anything else)

Went down to Pike Place and the Seattle waterfront today (entertaining a guest from out of town) and I saw quite a few  Botafogo fans sightseeing. Hopefully that’s a good sign that there will be a solid away attendance tomorrow.

Botafogo has few supporters even in Brazil.

Also Fluminense, but i guess Palmeiras and Flamengo games will have a lot of supporters in the US to watch the games.

Up to this moment it seems Ronaldo enjoyed more happy days in his old days than Messi. Let's see if this tournament gives a boost to any of them, or puts them on a trajectory towards retirement.
