Ziomek-Nogal won the women's 500m (Frist victory for Poland in the 2024-25 winter season in every sport), with a 3rd place for another Poland's skater, Wójcik

    • Malinin  opted for the 4-Axel in his Short Program, but faltered, landing him in 3rd thus far (and only 0.05 away from 4th!).  Surely he has the tools to rise back up in the Free Program.  (Also, perhaps this will serve to show him that he is in fact beatable.)
