Entries are up on the World Aquatics website but relay only athletes appear to be missing

Have attached seeded entry lists as a PDF.

Some things of note:

  • Sarah Sjostrom in 100 free
  • Gretchen Walsh in 100 free instead of Kate Douglass
  • Jamie Perkins in 400 free instead of Lani Pallister
  • Iona Anderson in 100 back instead of Mollie O'Callaghan (expected)
  • No Summer McIntosh in 200 free
  • Maggie MacNeil in 100 free
  • Marrit Steenbergen not in 200 free

Edit: Attached a copy of the entry lists as a PDF.

Made seeded entry lists at Google Sheets for easy reading.

I wonder if MacNeil took the spot before OCTs were handed out blocking Oleksiak from receiving an invite? They were probably not expecting so many to receive invites.

Who will be the star of the Games? On paper, Marchand and McIntosh look the ones with higher roofs, but both will face tough competition outside their best events and have fewer chances to add medals on relays. Then there are the americans, but there is no clear choice as was the case with Phelps in the past or even Dressel in 2021. And with the aussies, one of them (Mckeown, Titmus, O'Callaghan) would have to run the table of their individual events and in WR fashion. Not an easy task. I would pick Mollie, as she has a big chance to win 6 medals (with two relay golds almost guaranteed), although only two in individual events. But if she sweeps the 100-200 and with a WR, she gets the crown for me.

I fear it will be one of the Chinese swimmers who are likely dopped up.

This is much better than my scraped list. Where'd you find it?
