Romania with an insane push in the last 400 m to win the 1/2 after being 4th for almost all race in the W doubles :yikes:

Lady luck has smiled upon us today. M2x barely made it to the final while M4- beat France with 0.7 s to catch the last qualifying spot to their final. Usually we were the losers in this kind of situations, but lately things have changed.

Regarding W doubles, Radis and Bodnar looked vulnerable today; my guess is they tried to make a tactical race and row at a slower pace than usual, as they're doubling up in the eights and need to avoid exhaustion. I also think our girls underestimated their opponents a little bit. Radis said they made some errors during today's race which won't happen again in the final.

If the lights light up exactly at the correct moment, he was definitely first, since his light went on first. Not sure if those lights are 100% accurate though?

Wisconsin's Rusher family sends fourth rower Nick to the Olympics after mother Cindy, father Jack and daughter Alie.

Members of the Rusher family have competed in 5 different Olympic Games. Son Nick makes it 6 in Paris 2024   Olympics7b973c90ef3b5540035993b9bad9dbd26fd7fd5b0632ec25e8574347a7ba82a3.0.JPG

Only one :FRA boat in finals, and it is the one that nobody saw coming (at least by our "sport journalists").

Rowing is clearly a big disappointment in these Olympics for us!
