It’s strange because we came so close to the Dutch at the world champs last year, and won in 2022, so it’s a bit disappointing but I’m sure they will be happy to medal

Which seems fine to me. One false start can be understood and is forgiveablle given the nature of what's at stake but if the same team does it twice then they should get disqualified. This case was unusual because you don't normally see both teams infringe the rules but at least neither ended up with an advantage gifted by their opponents.
